Why I Do This Work

I didn't get into this to sell websites.

My husband runs his own business. When he started, I built and designed everything for him. He could have learned it eventually. He's smart enough. But every hour learning web design was an hour not doing the work that pays him.

"I wanted to set him up for success from day one. And he became successful."

He needed to focus on doing great work and earning trust with real customers. He should not have had to become a designer, a writer, and an SEO expert overnight too. But that is exactly what most owners are expected to do, on top of a full workload already.

I do not have a team of designers. I do not have a ping pong table in a break room, mostly because I do not have a break room. What I do have is one very stubborn belief. A website should actually work, not just look nice in a portfolio somewhere.

That experience shaped how I work with every client now. I start with your business, not a template. I look at what you do well. I look at what customers need to know before they trust you. Then we pick the pieces that support that. I will not sell you more just to make the bill bigger. That is not smart. I will not do it.

My goal is simple. Help 100 businesses by the end of 2027. Help them get found. Help them land better customers. Help them show the world how good they really are. That is what this is really about.

That's the why. Here's exactly how I make it real.

Why Work With Me

Random marketing tasks won't help your business grow.

A logo tweak here, a boosted post there, none of it adds up to anything. Random marketing tasks don't grow a business. They just make you feel like you did something.

What actually helps is someone who sees the whole picture. Someone who tells you what matters. And what doesn't, so you stop paying for it.

At a big agency, you are a number. One account out of fifty. Passed between departments like a game of telephone. Re-explaining your business to a stranger every time you call. Work with me, and you get a real, personal approach built around your business. Not a formula built for everyone, with your logo dropped in.

And because it is just me, I only take on a handful of projects at a time. That is not a sales trick. It is just true. One person can only do so much good work at once. I only have the one brain, and it gets tired.

Most owners need one person who really knows their business. Someone who keeps the message simple and explains why. This is a founder-led business. You will always know who is working on your business, and why. Because that person is me. Not a rotating cast of interns you'll never actually meet.

  • I check your business first, before I suggest anything
  • Ideas based on facts, not upsells
  • I tell you the plan up front
  • Strong, careful writing
  • Work that is tested and done right
  • Honesty about what won't help
  • Clear results, not vague "marketing"
  • Plain, simple updates
  • Real examples you can look at
  • I explain things without talking down to you
Fair Question

"You helped your husband. But will this work for a business like mine?"

His success is not a magic formula, and I will not pretend it is. Many things helped him: his skill, his price, his good name. What I learned is this: a clear message and steady visibility can help any good business grow. Your plan gets built around your business, your market, and where you are starting from. Not a copy of his plan.

Fair Question

"Haven't I already paid for leads and gotten burned?"

Maybe you have, and I won't pretend otherwise. Angie's List. HomeAdvisor. A Google ad someone talked you into. You paid for a click or a "lead." Then you found out four other people got that same lead first. Or no one called at all, because the page did not sound like you and gave them no reason to trust you. That is not marketing. That is renting attention and hoping. A website is different. You own it. It works every day it is live, even when you stop paying a platform. If ads let you down before, that is not a reason to stay stuck. It is a reason to put your next dollar into something that is actually yours.

Fair Question

"What if something happens to you?"

That is a fair thing to wonder, especially since this is a founder-led business. I keep clear records of every project. Passwords, how things run, where everything lives, all written down. If I am ever unavailable, you are not stuck. You would have what you need to keep going, or hand it to someone else.

Next Step

Let's find out what your business needs.

One talk. No pressure. I won't assume a full website is even the right answer. If it's not, I'll tell you that too.

Start the Conversation
Will I be pressured?

No. If you've met me, you know I don't push people. I hate being pressured myself, so I won't do that to you. I am also just not very good at the hard sell. I have tried. It is awkward for everyone. Book a call or fill out the form, whichever feels easier. Let's just talk.

What happens after I reach out?

I will follow up to set up a short call. Then we talk about your business.

Is this worth it even if we don't move forward?

Yes. You will leave with a clearer, honest picture of where you stand online. Worst case, you got a free opinion from someone who thinks about this too much.
